RESTAURANT STYLE SESAME CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cup 3 Dragons Sesame Chicken Sauce
1 lb chicken breast (cut into strips)
1 cup flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup cold water
2 tbsp oil, plus oil for frying
2 tbsp sesame seeds
DIRECTIONS
Make Batter: Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, water and 2 tbsp oil.
Add chicken pieces to batter and turn to coat evenly
Heat 2-3 Inches of oil for frying
Carefully drop battered chicken pieces one at a time into hot oil. Stir gently to prevent clumping together. Fry 3-4 minutes or until batter is golden and chicken is cooked through
Remove chicken from oil and drain on paper towels.
Toss chicken with ½ of Sesame Chicken Sauce.
Garnish with Sesame Seeds and serve with remaining sauce
